Questions
Are spectators allowed?
Yes - although children must be supervised at all times. Please note that dogs are not permitted at the circuits at any time, but guide dogs are allowed.

Do I need consent from a parent?
A consent form must be completed by a parent or guardian for anyone under the age of 16.
The form has to be signed on the WR premises in front of WR staff.

Are there minimum ages and heights for racing?
Yes – The age range for the junior track is 8-11. Senior track 11 and above. Height restrictions apply.

Can I arrive late for a race event?
No - All events commence with a safety briefing and practice laps. If you miss
the briefing or practice, you cannot race. We do not refund race fees for late
arrivals.

Can I put up banners etc during my event?
Subject to our prior consent, you may put up one or two banners or similar.
Please contact us if you would like to advertise permanently at the circuit.

Can I wear my own safety equipment?
Drivers may supply their own safety equipment, but it should be approved by the Race Director. Helmets must be to BS standard (or higher) full-face, with a visor - and have no visible signs of damage. Suits should cover the driver from neck to wrist to ankle and be of appropriate construction for racing. Westridge Racing does not accept any liability for any loss of such equipment or any injury caused where the driver's own safety equipment may have contributed to the injury.

Do I have to bring my own safety gear?
No, we provide all safety equipment that is required for hire drivers. All drivers should wear trainers or similar flat soled shoes.

Do I need a driving licence?
No. You do not need a driving licence to drive WR karts.

Do Westridge Racing operate in all conditions?
Westridge Racing is an all weather track and will operate in all but the most sever weather conditions.

Is there parking at the venue?
Westridge Racing has ample parking and do not accept any responsibility for any loss or damage to vehicles or contents in the car park. Bicycle racks are also available.

What classes of karts are allowed at Westridge Racing
circuit?
Westridge Racing welcomes all four stroke classes, please contact us for more information.

What should I wear?
Please wear training shoes or similar. We advise loose comfortable clothes that you can wear under the race suit.

Personal conduct
Safety is of paramount importance to Westridge Racing. We operate a strict no alcohol or drugs policy and reserve the right to refuse anyone from the track who is found to be behaving in a dangerous or anti-social manner.
